He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Winston Knowles and Rosalie Knowles (Clark); his grandchildren, Matt, Evan, Rian and Sammy; his daughters, Ashley Knowles (Silas Harris) of Georgia, VT and Amy Gustaveson (Rob) of Wells River, VT; his siblings, Rick Knowles of Barre, VT, Lisa Lajoie (Mike) of Barre, VT, Steve Knowles (Carol Perkins) of Barnard, VT and Lori Knowles of Orlando, FL; and his pet Blue. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
