It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn L. Smith (Saint Johnsbury, Vermont), born in Houlton, Maine, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Clayton Leavitt and Marybell Leavitt; her parents-in-law, Horace and Harriett Smith; and her cousin Brad Leavitt.

She is survived by : her husband Duane Smith; her sons, Daniel (Kara) and Jesse; and her nephew Joshua Smith. She is also survived by son, 2 brothers in law and their spouses and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations in Evelyn's name can be made to the Riverside Rescue, 236 Riverside Ave., Lunenburg VT 05906.
