He is survived by : his children, Jeffrey R. Ely (Robin Boutin) of Wheelock, Tammy S. Merrick (Richard) of Colchester, Anna M. Talbot (Ed LaBounty) and Matthew T. Ely (Susie) of Colchester; the mother of his children Susan I. Ely of Lyndonville; his siblings, David Ely (Diane) of Burlington, Gaylon Ely (Sue), Jimmy Ely (Joyce) of St. Albans, Sharon Noel (JP) of Lyndonville, Rosemary Palmer (Hod) of Fairlee and Dan Gaudet (Mary) of Boston, MA; his sisters-in-law, Janice Ely of St. Johnsbury and Jean Ely of Virginia; and his grandchildren, Jasmine Beaudette, Gabriel Upton, Brodie Talbot, Kayla Talbot, Lucia Ely and Rosa Ely. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
