He was predeceased by : his parents, William Lynch and Lydia Heinrichs; his wife Ruth (Taylor); and his siblings, Elsie Bower, Mabel Allen and David Heinrichs.

He is survived by : his son Douglas; his daughter-in-law Kathleen; his grandchildren, John (Jacki) and Caroline (Devin); his great grandchildren, William, Thomas, Waylon and Hailey; and his siblings, Dale Heinrichs, Eileen Kaufholz (Ed) and Georgiana Kostiuk. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
