Leon touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Leon’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold L. Sheldon and Blanche L. Sheldon (Bissett); and his brothers, Frank Sheldon, Leslie and Philip R. Sheldon.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Sheldon (MacDonald) of Auburn, MA; and his children, Lou-Ellen Corkum (David) of Charlton, MA, Scott Sheldon (Christina) of Newark, Delaware and David Sheldon (Kandi) of East Dover, Vermont.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sharon Congregational Church (90 VT-132, Sharon, VT 05065).
