The passing of Jeanne Carol Detenbeck of Shelburne, Vermont, born in North Tonawanda, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 23, 2026 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her daughter Christina Hamilton. She is survived by: her husband Robert; her daughter Naomi Detenbeck of Putney, VT; her grandchildren, Katy Henley of Pembroke, NH and Steven Hamilton of South Burlington, VT; her great grandchildren, Quinn and Anthony Henley of Pembroke, NH; and her cousins, Holly and Sylvia.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the United Negro College Fund or the American Indian College Fund.
