He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyndon B. Carew, Sr. and Myrtle Woodworth (Buck); his siblings, Joyce Appleton and Warren Carew; and his niece Nancy DeGrandpre.
He is survived by: his daughters, Leslie of Charlotte and Audre of Williston; his former wife Lynn Harrington Carew; his nephews, Wayne Appleton and Ted Carew; his significant other Alida Ingham Lund; and his friend Fran Alster Kinghorn. He is also survived by several cousins and great nieces and nephews.
