She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Akey and Peggy Akey; her significant other Paul Rosenberg; her daughters, Eliza and Nell; her brother Kevin; and her close friend Charles O'Rouke.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Breakthrough T1D (formerly the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation) and Planned Parenthood. And in lieu of attendance at the funeral, Megs would be pleased if you, like her mother's wish before her, would fix yourself an Old Fashioned and call someone you haven't spoken to in a long time.
