It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Douglas Cunningham (South Burlington, Vermont), who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Douglas Cunningham and Elizabeth Cunningham; and his siblings, Fred, William Cunningham and Ann Maree Beaman.
He is survived by : his wife Donna; his daughter Laura Cunningham Firkey (Peter); his granddaughters, Emily (Charlie) of Essex Junction, Vt. and Eva of Essex Junction, Vt.; his stepchildren, Catherine Kelly of Philadelphia, Michael Kelly of Bankok and John Kelly (Jennifer) of Ft. Worth; and his brothers, John Cunningham (Dana) of Durango and Scot Cunningham (Sheri) of Osgood. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
He served several terms as president of the Vermont Lung Association and the Arthritis Foundation of New England and as a member of the school boards of the Champlain Valley Unified School District and Essex Junction High School.
