He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Hardy and Margaret Hardy (Denton); his sister Margorie; his brother-in-law Paul Grenier Sr.; his in-laws, Harold Sr. and Dorothy Mayo; and his brothers-in-law, Harold, Thomas and Rodney Mayo.
He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Hardy (Dottie); his children, Jamie (Rachel Hardy) of Essex, Jodie West and Jenna Hardy of South Burlington; his grandchildren, Richie West (Kayla Clayton) of So, Nadia Comba and Bryant Nichols; his nephew Paul Jr.; his caregiver Judy Johnson; and also Paul Comba of So. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
