It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Bannon McCormick (South Burlington, Vermont), who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Joan Bannon McCormick; her sister Marie; her husband Terence Michael; Michael McGrath. She is survived by: her children, Judeth (Hank Kaylor), Terence (Kathy McCormick), Laura (Eric Viscito) and Maureen McCormick; her grandchildren, Conor Kaylor, Breanna (Matthew Williams), Liam Kaylor, Ryan McCormick, Darcy McCormick, Kelly McCormick, Grace Viscito and Luca Viscito; and her great grandchildren, Meghan and Miranda Williams.
A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery. A wake will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph G. Duffy Funeral Home (255 9th Ave, New York, NY 10001).
