Sara Packard Obituary

We announce the death of Sara Packard (South Burlington, Vermont), born in Burlington, Vermont, who passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 71. Sara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Sara will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Sara will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Sara’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jane Packard Bryant and Artemas Packard. She is survived by: her stepfather Cy Bryant; her sisters, Susan Sesera, Deborah Packard, Nancy Packard and Angela Bull; her stepbrother Weylan Bryant (Woody); and her friend Virginia Ringey. She is also survived by friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the McClure Respite House, or Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres).
