He was predeceased by: his parents, Werner Kruse Senior and Agnes Kruse (Fish); his wife Lorraine Strong of Dewey's Mills; his son Lawrence; and his brother Werner Junior.
He is survived by: his brother Merrill; his children, Steve and Sherrie Fuchs (Steve); and his granddaughters, Emily Fuchs (Jasmine Bruce) and Stephanie Belfiglio (Conrad). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davis Memorial Chapel (99 Summer St, Springfield, VT 05156). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Springfield Congregational Church.
Donations may be made to the Springfield VFW Club or the Springfield Congregational Church.
