She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Wilks and Hatton Wilks; her husband John E. Petty; and her daughter Cheryl. She is survived by: her children, Joan Pluta (Michael) of North Chittenden and John M. Petty of West Rutland; her grandsons, John Morgan Pluta (Megan Watrous) of Shoreham and Daniel Pluta of North Chittenden; and her brother Roger Wilks of New Jersey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
