It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ada Mabel Alger (Waterbury, Vermont), born in North Duxbury, Vermont, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Lewis and Ila Lewis (Russell); and her siblings, Lyle Lewis, Rita Wood, Gerald Lewis, Arlene Stafford, Arland Lewis, Carlyle Lewis Merle Lewis and Lorraine Towne.

She is survived by : her husband Russell; and her children, Steven Alger, Nancy Russell and Denise Jacobs. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Perkins-Parker Funeral Home (48 S Main St, Waterbury Village Historic District, VT 05676). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (50 S Main St, Waterbury, VT 05676). A burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hope Cemetery.
