She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Nelson (Babe) and Minnie Guyette Nelson; and her siblings, Norm, Mack, Don Nelson and Lorraine Nelson Clark.

She is survived by: her daughters, Danielle Magowan (Jamey), Monica Martinet, Francine Duckworth (Craig) and Nicole Ledbetter; her grandson Garrett Frawley; and her great grandchild Waylon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Janice also took much pleasure from donating to charities, particularly children's and animal causes.
