He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Rivers and Bertha Rivers (Nichols); and his siblings, Terry Rushford, Irene Combs, Eleanor Brochu, Marion Rodgers, Earl Rivers and Kenneth Rivers.
He is survived by : his wife Nancy Rivers; his children, Barbara LaVanway (Maurice) of Duxbury, Brenda Quenneville of Fayston and Richard Rivers Jr. (Debra) of Moretown; and his brother Lloyd Rivers (Donna) of Murphys, CA.
