He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Forthun and Lisa Forthun. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Linda Smith and Daniel R. Forthun (Sheila); his grandchildren, Bryan Valley, Daniel A. Forthun (Brittany), Christopher Forthun (Samantha Jeffrey), Shawn McKeon (Heather), John Forthun (Alexis), Megan Baugh (Kennith) and Brittney Smith (Brendan Ruff); and his brother Lydell Forthun. He is also survived by 15 great- grandchildren.
