With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donald E. Pastula of West Danville, Vermont, born in Bloomfield, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Donald left this world on May 30, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pastula and Florence Pastula (Kriss); his wife Barbara "Bobbi" Pastula; and his siblings, Dorothy Sniffin and Richard Pastula.
He is survived by: his children, David Pastula (Karen), Douglas Pastula (Dawn) of Danville, Susan Pastula D'Anna of Woodstock, VT and Carole Pastula Kasper of Lincoln, MA; his brother Peter Havriluk (Ann) of Granby, CT; his grandchildren, Meghan Pastula Elliott, Katharine Pastula Bishop, Sarah Pastula, James Pastula, Melanie Pastula Abare, Erika Pastula Bludau, Cassandra Pastula, Lily D'Anna, Jonathan Kasper and Nicholas Kasper; and his great grandchildren, Juniper Bishop, Johnny Bishop, Isaac Elliot, Rylie Gilbert and Lincoln Gilbert.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sayles Funeral Home (525 Summer St, St Johnsbury, VT 05819). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church (240 US-2, Danville, VT 05828). A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at the Danville Green Cemetery (548 Brainerd St, Danville, VT 05828).
