He is survived by: his caregiver Dorothy Cook; his sons, Steve Mailhiot (Bonnie Poirier), David Mailhiot Jr. (Rose Evarts) and Donald (Buddy); his niece Angela Stewart of Arizona; and his grandchildren, Elicia Pinsonault (Brian), Amanda Barrett, Haley Beard, Ryan De Jong, Travis DeJong (Becky), Amy Mailhiot, Kyle Mailhiot (Alex Hall), Seth Mailhiot (Jenevieve), Jared Mailhiot (Kristen), Jacob Mailhiot (Emily) and David Bagley (Abby).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to foley Cancer Center at RRMC or VT Veterans Home at 325 North St Bennington Vt.
