Genevieve Prenevost Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2025, at the age of 105, Genevieve Prenevost of West Rutland, Vermont passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Genevieve Prenevost to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid adieu to Genevieve's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Genevieve has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Godlewski and Mary Godlewski (Gwardyak); her husband Richard P. Prenevost; and her siblings, Edward Godlewski, Mary Rattee and Gladys Rogers.
She is survived by: her son Richard S. Prenevost. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Stanislaus Kostka Church (28 Church St, West Rutland, VT 05701).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Rutland Area Visiting Nurse & Hospice at 7 Albert Cree Drive , Rutland, VT 05701.
