It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elfriede Burton of West Windsor, Vermont, who passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Elfriede may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz Lederer and Maria Lederer (Mix); and her daughter Rebeca Burton. She is survived by: her sons, Charles W. Burton of Newbury, VT and David Burton of West Windsor.
