He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond A. Stone and Merle K. Stone (Brigham); his grandson Adam Stone; and his great grandchildren, Madilyn Grace Smith and Asher Alan Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Stone of Florida; his children, Michael R. Stone (Gigi) of Calabash, NC, Timothy W. Stone of Corolla, NC and Katherine Smith (Brett) of Post Mills; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Sean, Tucker, Kevin of Lindsay, JJ and Casey. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
