He is survived by: his wife Hildegard Kannler of Hartland; his sisters, Renate Kannler of New London and Brigitte Ungerer of Stuttgart, Germany; his niece Sylvia Alberta (John Alberta) of Enfield; his great-nephews, Daniel (Megan) and Erich; and his nephew Andrew Kannler (Tracey Darling) of Grafton.
