Anne Hooks Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anne Hooks in Williamstown, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Mazzetti and Dora Mazzetti (Bargellini); her husband George C. Hooks Jr.; her sister Marfisa Pino; her son-in-law Robert N. Pudvar; and her brothers-in-law, Johnnie Horace Hooks and William Donald.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Hooks (Aileen) of Bennington and Amy Pudvar Smith (Tim) of Hancock, MA.; her grandchildren, Caleb Pudvar (Savannah) of Augusta, Maine, Zachary Hooks of Bellingham, Washington, Logan Hooks of Chicago, IL, Delaney Pudvar of Stamford, VT and Emily Smith of Brooklyn, NY.; her brother Anthony Mazzetti of Bennington; her niece Dorothy Muir (Roger) of Bennington; her great-niece Leah Weilacher (Michael); her siblings-in-law, Ouida Donald of Bessemer, AL and Kenneth Hooks of Louisville, MS; Valentin of Berlin. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mahar & Son Funeral Home (628 Main St, Bennington, VT 05201). A prayer will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
