Arthur DeVries Sr. Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Arthur DeVries Sr. of Williston, Vermont, who passed away at the age of 88, on September 26, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dirk DeVries and Wilma DeVries; his son Arthur DeVries, Jr.; and his siblings, Theunis DeVries, Winnie DeVries, Susan Struble and Jenny Kuperus.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Norman of South Burlington, Vermont; his daughters, Donna Clark-Kelsey (Greg Kelsey) of Hinesburg, Debbie Pellegrini (John Pellegrini) of Villas and Linda Wall of Plainfield; his brother Fred DeVries (Rita) of Bloomingburg; his nephew Rich Struble of Essex, Vermont; his granddaughters, Julie Van Nieuwland (Steve Van Nieuwland), Jessica Norful (Jordan Norful), Melissa Mason (Aaron Mason), Nicole Pellegrini, Angela Schaffer (Jessie Schaffer), Kimberly Nicklaw Sarah (KC Nicklaw) and Alison Wall; and his great grandchildren, Mike Pellegrini, Aidan Norful, Paige Van Nieuwland, Ava Norful, Morgan Van Nieuwland, Asher Norful, Payton Sue Mason, Jay Nicklaw, Gia Wall, Isabella Mason, Myles Nicklaw and Bryce Nicklaw. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pinkel Funeral Home, Inc. (31 Bank St, Sussex, NJ 07461). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christian Reformed Church (49 Unionville Ave, Sussex, NJ 07461). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at the Frankford Plains Cemetery.
