We announce the death of Barbara Rose Shenefiel Myers of Williston, Vermont, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 93. Barbara Rose will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Barbara Rose will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Barbara Rose’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert; her parents, David Shenefiel and Rosa Hoxie Shenefiel (Hoxie); her grandfather Gilbert; and her siblings, Bruce, David Shenefiel, Margaret Shenefiel Bailey and Allegra Shenefiel Lake.
She is survived by: her siblings, Randall Shenefiel (Frances) and Lola Armstrong (William) of Chebeague Island, ME.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Essex Center United Methodist Church (119 Center Rd, Essex Junction, VT 05452).
