He was predeceased by: his parents, Linwood Bushey and Dorothy Bushey (Lahaie); his son Justin Joseph Bushey; and his family Ormond Bushey. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Bushey (Jacobs); his children, Amber Bushey (Mark Gaworecki) of Essex, Emmett and Evan Gaworecki; his siblings, Judy Hosking (Richard) of Essex, Virgil Bushey of Florida, Charles Bushey of Washington and Robin Plouffe; and his brother-in-law Ken Bouchard of Essex. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Justin Bushey Memorial Scholarship at the Center for Technology, Essex or the McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester, Vermont.
