We bid farewell to Joy A. Parsons of Williston, Vermont, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Joy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward C. and Rita H.. She is survived by: her husband Alfred Parsons; her sons, Jeffrey Garfeld (Kathy) and Bradley Garfield (Maile); and her siblings, Edward C. Papin Jr. (Diane) and Francis Tilley. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Services South Chapel (261 Shelburne Rd, Burlington, VT 05401). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Deer View Cemetery - Williston (1413-1007 N Williston Rd, Williston, VT 05495).
