Kris McCabe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kris McCabe of Windsor, Vermont, who passed away on June 2, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Kris had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Kris may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, E. J. "Mac" McCabe and Judy McCabe (Clark); and his pet Copper. He is survived by: his wife Ruth McCabe of Windsor; his children, Elizabeth Maxon (Forrest) of Corona, CA and Troy McCabe (Rebecca Simon) of South Royalton; and his brother Kevin McCabe (Blanche) of Windsor.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Knight Funeral Home - Windsor (65 Ascutney St, Windsor, VT 05089). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Old South United Church of Christ (146 Main St, Windsor, VT 05089). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Ascutney Cemetery (54 Ascutney St, Windsor, VT 05089).
