Kay left this world on October 2, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard McMillan and Ethel McMillan; her sisters, Jeanne Cox and Carroll Woyjcik (James); and her grandsons, James Currie and Roger Schafer, III.
She is survived by: her brothers, Ken (Marnie), Jim (Marianne) and Terry McMillan (Sandy); and her children, Elizabeth Schafer (Roger), Mary Susan Currie (John), David (Patty), Andrew, Jennifer (Scott DuBois), Christine Horton (Stephen), Kathleen Kent (A. D.), Stephen and Natalie Bradford (Joel). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the LaVigne Funeral & Cremation Service (132 Main St, Winooski, VT 05404). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Daybreak Community Church (67 Creek Farm Plaza, Colchester, VT 05446). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Resurrection Park Cemetery (200 Hinesburg Rd, South Burlington, VT 05403).
