He was predeceased by: his daughter Kimberly Simpson; and his sister Dee Knutson. He is survived by: his children, Per Oskar Ternsten Jr. of Norway, Jack Parshall of Hoquiam, Washington, Tina Otis of Rochester, Debbie Simpson and Fayanne McKee of Aberdeen, Washington.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
