It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon David Barchenger of Aberdeen, Washington, who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor John and Peggy Ruth Barchenger (Wence); his daughter Vicki Villa; and his brother-in-law Bob Wirkus. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Barchenger of Central Park, WA; his daughters, Anna Schmitz of Kit Carson, CO and Debi Phelps of Safford, AZ; his stepsons, Tim of Seattle, WA, Dan of Renton, WA and Brian of Central Park, WA; his brother George Barchenger (Doris) of Grand Junction, CO; his siblings-in-law, Steve, Doug, Jeff and Debbie; and his grandchildren, Ken, Paige, Mikayla, Steven, Bret, Ben Becky, Alissa, Ryah and Atticus. He is also survived by 13 great-Grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John Catholic Church (414 E Broadway Ave, Montesano, WA 98563).
