He is survived by: his parents, Jim Emerson and Kathy Emerson (Johnson) of Pullman; his children, Hailee Emerson of Arizona and Mason Emerson of Pullman; and his siblings, Kim Keifer of Pullman and Jim Emerson of Alaska. He is also survived by many extended family members, including aunts, uncles, cousins.
