With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarice Grove of Anacortes, Washington, who passed away on May 5, 2025 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walter and Mary Walter; her siblings, Elenore, Frank, Bess, Fred, Melvin and Louie Walter; her granddaughter Jennifer Grove; and her son Roger Grove.
She is survived by: her son Jim (Susan); her daughter-in-law Susan Hayes; her sons, Charlie, Timmy and Ethan; her former spouse Sydney Sweet; her son Joshua; her daughter-in-law Jill Shreve; her daughters, Aspen and Ryan; her former husband Jason Powell; her daughter Haylee; her grandson Jonathan; her husband Irl Grove; and also, Jim and Roger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Valley Hills Funeral Home (531 S 16th St, Sunnyside, WA 98944). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tahoma National Cemetery (18600 SE 240th St, Kent, WA 98042).
