Lorraine McLean Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine McLean of Anderson Island, Washington, born in Oakland, California, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Ward and Mable Ward; her sister Harriett; and her brother-in-law Bill. She is survived by: her husband Jim McLean; her close friend Kendel Lyman; Pam of Tacoma, WA, Brian (Julie) of Bellevue, WA, Joseph (Yoko) of Tsuruoka, Yamagata, Joan of Milwaukee, WI and Andrew (Melissa) of Milwaukee, WI. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Milwaukee Catholic Home – Employee Appreciation Fund (https://trinityseniorservices.org) to recognize the many caregivers that helped her in Milwaukee, and Quilts of Valor – Anderson Island to recognize her love of crafting and to support an organization that meant so much to her.
