As Gordon departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of our hearts. Though Gordon may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by : his parents, John J. Riggs and Violet C Riggs of Fremont. He is survived by : his spouse Lou Ann Riggs; his children, Greg (Shari Riggs), Jeff (Gerry Riggs), Melissa Frederick (George Ilgenfritz), Randy (Rosalind Riggs) and Virginia Riggs; and his sister Lavonne Erdan of Fremont Nebraska. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
He also donated time to the HOPE Meals for Kids Backpack Program loading and delivering weekly food packs for 250 children at local schools.
