For Katherine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Hinman; her children, David Hinman and Julie Mehl (Hinman); her brother Douglas Ruud; and her parents, Otis Ruud and Charlotte Ruud.

She is survived by: her daughter Dana Hinman; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Trevino (Hinman), Charlotte, KC Hinman, Riley and Garrett Mehl.
