He is survived by: his children, Nathaniel Thomas McGowin, Rebeccah Lee Elizabeth Sasis and Amanda Maria Darlene McGowin; his grandchildren, Damien Christopher Sasis and Reiya Alisha Sasis; his brother Charles Edward O'Malley, Jr.; and his former wife Sandra Maria Turner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
