With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Elaine Aaker in Bainbridge Island, Washington, who passed away on October 18, 2025 at the age of 62. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon Elaine Aaker to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Brodal and Audrey Brodal (Severson); her brother Steven; and her brothers-in-law, Don Hodek and James Aaker.
She is survived by: her husband Chuck Aaker; her daughter Brit Aaker; her sisters, Susan Maham (Kim) and Shirley Hodek; and her siblings' children, Kris Maham (Melanie), Melissa Hodek (Robert Bassett) and Matthew Hodek. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Amundson Funeral Home (2975 S 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58208). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
