He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Garland and Josephine Garland (Chatfield); his wife Noi; his children, Joe and Nancy; his sons-in-law, Philip and Cole; his grandchildren, Rowan and Riley; and his sister Nancy Mattern (Garland) of Boston's North Shore.
