David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Babette Waldal; his children, Tony Waldal, Brian Waldal (Leilani), Amber Phillips (Sean) and Dustin Waldal (Jilese); and his grandchild Sarina.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Vancouver Apostolic Lutheran Church (2103 NE 68th St, Vancouver, WA 98665).
