He is survived by: his father Scott Jurgens (Sue Clovis); his sisters, Kate Jurgens (Michael Gates), Jessica Jurgens and Patricia "PJ" Hillemann (Eric); his fiancé Camica Cox; his aunt Anita Miranda; his uncle Mike Loewen; and his pet Crosley.
The family suggests memorials in John's memory be sent to a local animal shelter of choice, the American Kidney fund, or the National Kidney Foundation.
