He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Louise; and his grandparents, Arthur and Frances Watson. He is survived by: his father Robert Dennis Shaffer; his daughter Zoey Shaffer; his brother Arthur Shaffer (Linda); and his uncle Fred Watson (Mary).
