He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I offer my condolences to Tommy Quan's family. I remember Tommy in the 1950's. My mother would send me to Tai Tung for BBQ pork. I would go directly to the kitchen where Tommy cut the BBQ pork and he always gave me an extra snack piece. Years later, I was there at the China Gate Cocktail Lounge, when Tommy would occasionally buy a round for the house. Two months ago, we bumped into each other at Tai Tung and had the chance to reminisce about old times. Rest peacefully Tommy. Tony Chinn”
