With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Anne Gibbons (Bellevue, Washington), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 24, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Wokna and Anna Wokna; her husband John "Pat" Gibbons; her brother Jack Wokna; and her daughter Sheila Smith (Pat).
She is survived by: her children, John Gibbons, Tim Gibbons (Kristin), Kevin Gibbons (Diana), Jerry Gibbons (Paola), Mary Margaret Schoep (Mike), Mary Anne Gibbons, Colette Samuel (Craig) and Claire Schack (Eric). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
