She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Hallanger and Alvilde Hallanger (Torvik); her husband John; and her siblings, Frederick, Erling, Anna, Eunice, Phyllis, Elizabeth, Jane and Solveig.

She is survived by: her siblings, Helen and Chris (Jan); her children, Shaun (Kerry), Christopher and Adam; her stepchildren, Leslie (Fred) and Don (Sheri); her grandchildren, Lydia and Nicholas (Wendy); and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Thor, Rowyn and Link. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
