He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Brouwer and Cornelia Brouwer; and his sister Marjie Craig. He is survived by: his sons, Travis (Jessica), Nathan (April) and Matthew (Jasmine); his grandchildren, Brinsley, Brooklyn, Ashley, Zetta, Jude and August; his sister Kathe Brouwer; and his in-laws, Roger, Bernita Likkel, Stan Likkel and Kay Likkel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be designated for Whatcom Hospice, Envision Mission or the Lighthouse Mission, all organizations in Bellingham.
