We are sad to announce that, on April 29, 2026, at the age of 82, Clair Schouten in Bellingham, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arie Schouten and Alyda Schouten (Kok); his grandson Dominic Andersen; his siblings, Anna Margaret, Adrian John and Jane Edna; and his siblings-in-law, Myra Schouten, Ron Ferguson and Vern McCauley.

He is survived by: his wife Corrie Schouten; his sons, Craig Schouten (Jennifer) and Chad Schouten; his granddaughter Ava Schouten; his pet Daisy; his siblings, Hilbert Schouten, Marion Schouten (Marsha), Anna Mae Ferguson, John Schouten (Jane), Audrey McCauley, Alyda Dykstra (Duane) and Arlo Schouten (Charlotte); and his in-laws, Tina Vander Veen (Jim), Martin Vander Laan and Bruce Vander Laan (Kiki). He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
