Edith (Edie) Miller Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 23, 2026, at the age of 91, Edith (Edie) Miller of Bellingham, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Schutte and Lena Schutte (Polinder); her former husband Larry Parks (Lawrence); her siblings, LeRoy Schutte, Dick Schutte, Katherine McAfee, Angie Schutte, Mildred Lehman and Joan Schutte; her daughter Karen Tatom; her stepsons, Eric Miller and Scot Miller; and her granddaughter Rachael Ratelle.

She is survived by: her husband Bud Miller (Harley); her sisters, Lucy Ogar and Judy Velthuizen Halliburton (Jim); her children, Mark Parks, Andrew Parks (Juvy), Brian Parks, Teresa Christensen and Janet Nickerson (Patrick); and her stepchildren, Michael Miller, Catherine Ratelle (Steve) and Joy Roth (Steve). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren and many other relatives.
